Payment Plans and Payment Methods

Payment Plans

Semester Payment Plan

Payment of all regular charges is due prior to the beginning of each semester. First semester charges, less financial aid credits, are due no later than August 1. Second semester charges, less financial aid credits, are due no later than January 4.

Monthly Payment Plan

Charges may be paid in 5 monthly installments. For the fall semester, installments are due by the first of the month, August through December. For the spring semester, installments are due by the first of the month, January through May. There is a fee of $50 per semester to participate in the Monthly Payment Plan. To take advantage of the five-installment option, you must enroll prior to the first due date: August 1 for fall and January 4 for spring.

Personal Check, Cashier’s Check or Money Order
Please be sure to write your Occidental Student ID number on your payment. Payment may be made with the College cashier, or can be mailed to:

Online Payment From Checking/Savings Account
Pay by electronic check (ACH) or use your debit card via TouchNet. There is no additional fee for using this service. To use this service, logon to (or myÃÛÌÒAPP, for students.) Select Make a Payment and choose your payment method from the dropdown menu.  

529 College Saving Plans

Please contact your savings plan to review your payment options. Most plans will mail a check directly to us — please be sure to include your Occidental Student ID number on your request, and use the mailing address above. Some plans now offer electronic distribution, which saves time and allows for real-time payment tracking.

 

International Payment Methods:

For security reasons, the College does not provide direct bank information for wire transfers. All wire payments should be completed using one of the services below. Both services offer the following benefits:

  • No international wiring fees
  • Pay into a local account in your own currency
  • Online tracking of payment
  • Excellent exchange rates
  • 24/7 multilingual customer support

Starting fall 2026, we are excited to welcome PayMyTuition as a new international payment option alongside our existing TransferMate service.

New for Fall 2026! — PayMyTuition

With PayMyTuition you can make payments from any bank, in any country, in any currency at better-than-bank exchange rates. PayMyTuition also provides a web experience and customer support in multiple languages. (Link coming soon.)

TransferMate
We have integrated international payments powered by TransferMate within TouchNet, giving you the option to pay tuition and fees in your local currency. To use this service, log in to (or myÃÛÌÒAPP, for students), select Make a Payment, and choose TransferMate from the dropdown menu. Learn more about TransferMate.

Cashier

To make a payment in person, please visit the Cashier's Office on the first floor of the Arthur G. Coons Administrative Center during the following hours:

Tuesday: 9:00 am – 11:00 am Thursday: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

IRS Form 8300
Please be aware that ÃÛÌÒAPP is required by law to report receipt of more than $10,000.00 in cash over the course of any 12-month period to the IRS by filing IRS Form 8300. Students will be notified by the Business Office if a Form 8300 is required to be filed.
